This position involves helping customers move household and commercial belongings safely and efficiently. The role also involves working closely with colleagues to deliver a professional moving service.
Main Duties
* Prepare, pack, and protect customer belongings for transportation or storage
* Use specialist wrapping materials to safeguard furniture and fragile possessions
* Handle delicate items such as fine china, mirrors, antiques, artwork, and IT equipment with care
* Dismantle and rebuild furniture where necessary
* Assist with the removal of fittings such as doors, frames, curtains, or carpets to allow safe access
* Load and unload removal vehicles, ensuring all items are secured correctly
