Job Summary

This position reports to the Pharmacy Manager and is responsible for receiving, preparing and delivering prescriptions accurately and timely. It also monitors inventory levels, provides patient counseling, and documents all interactions. The role is a relief position with occasional travel across the province.

What you’ll do

• Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely for patients.
• Ensure medication and over-the-counter supplement inventory levels are adequate to meet patients’ needs.
• Counsel patients regarding new and additional medications in a friendly, positive, and proactive manner.
• Create awareness and educate customers through public relations activities such as public health days and clinics.
• Provide timely and positive resolution to patient needs and doctor requests/issues.
• Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary).
