Job Description
A client is looking for a Release Train Engineer to support multiple Agile teams by helping them plan, coordinate, and deliver work in a consistent and predictable way. On a day to day basis, the RTE will work closely with Product, Architecture, and delivery leads to understand priorities, plan upcoming work, and make sure teams are aligned on what they are building and why. They are responsible for running key SAFe events such as PI Planning, ART syncs, and retrospectives, and for making sure those sessions produce clear outcomes like committed plans, identified risks, and visible dependencies on the program board. Throughout each Program Increment, the RTE will actively monitor progress across roughly five Agile teams (with the potential to support more as work grows). This includes tracking delivery status in Jira, reviewing dashboards and metrics, and helping teams manage dependencies, risks, and blockers that could impact timelines.
