Summary This position is organizationally located at the Clement J. Zablocki VAMC in Milwaukee, WI as part of the Mental Health Division with the in the VHA Vocational Rehabilitation Service (VHA VR). VHA VR Service includes: Vocational and Educational Assistance, and Compensated Work Therapy (CWT). The Rehabilitation Counselor will provide services based on needs of the veterans and programs at that time. Responsibilities Major Duties of the Vocational Rehabilitation Service Rehabilitation Counselor Include: Provides personal adjustment counseling, therapeutic rehabilitation interventions, and case coordination services. Uses evidence-informed and evidence-based modalities to aid Veterans integrate successfully into the community. Serves Veterans who have myriad barriers to overcome and achieve competitive employment, educational, and independent living goals.
