Rehab Assistant - Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Hospital, Fixed Term for 5 months, Full Time, 80 hours per fortnight (1 FTE).

About the Role

Hoki ki te Kāinga is an Early Supported Discharge service that provides relationship‑centred care to older adults following illness, injury, or surgery.

In this role you will work under the guidance of registered health professionals to deliver restorative rehabilitation and daily living support, such as helping people with walking, showering, dressing, preparing meals, and following prescribed exercise programmes.

Your support will help individuals return to their previous level of function and confidence.

You will also work closely with whānau, supporting them to play an active role in their loved ones’ recovery journey.
