A typical day would involve:
Following up on regulatory compliance issues to ensure they are appropriately documented, risk assessed, owned and have suitable action plans.Supporting the Regulatory Compliance team with establishing processes to run an effective Compliance Department, e.g. managing requests from Regulators, managing regulatory changes, dealing with advisory requests from across Vancity and Vancouver Community Investment Bank (VCIB).Supporting development of key risk and control reporting of regulatory compliance risks and assist with design and maintenance of risk dashboards.Supporting culture change across Vancity by helping organize outreach and training for business partners.Providing support to the Regulatory Compliance team on various projects to enhance compliance across Vancity.
