Summary: Under general supervision and according to established procedures, obtains all pertinent information required to ensure that the Medical Centers’ financial and patient related data bases are accurate and complete. Routinely provides counseling and or education to patients, families or assigned representatives relative to financial responsibility. Interpretation and review of Physician orders for laboratory services which includes documentation of verbal orders, written documentation or other requested ancillary testing to facilitate accurate testing and charges for services rendered. Performs all aspects of admissions and registrations throughout the medical center as defined. Maintain and adequately track all aspects of census, bed and unit assignment.
