Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) – Emergency Care Services

Central Toronto Veterinary and Referral & Emergency Clinic (CTVRC/EC) is seeking a dedicated RVT to join our Emergency Care Service.

Anticipated Schedules

• Days, evenings, and overnights options available.
• 10‑hour and 12‑hour shifts.
• Rotational weekends, most likely every other weekend.

Compensation

• $26–$35 per hour based on experience and skill set.
• $2 shift premium for shifts between 7PM and 7AM.
• $2,500 sign‑on bonus.

What You’ll Do

• Triage and assess patients with critical conditions and document evaluations.
• Perform advanced medical procedures such as thoracentesis, ultrasounds, central line placement, epidurals, and more.
• Provide nursing care to in‑house and out‑patients, including TPRs, catheterization, wound management, and rehabilitation therapy.
