POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs routine and intensive therapy and diagnostic procedures. Maintains respiratory equipment. assures ventilator and life support equipment are operable. Provide routine respiratory patient assessment. Performs some invasive procedures such as ABGs and will assist with intubation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be licensed by the State of Texas to perform Respiratory Care under the guidelines of the Respiratory care Practitioners Act and holds a temporary permit until such permanent (RCP) license is obtained.
2. Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHSβs Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.
