**Job Responsibilities:**

+ Monitor patients' heart rhythms using telemetry equipment
+ Interpret and respond to cardiac rhythm changes
+ Assess and record vital signs regularly
+ Administer medications as prescribed (oral, IV, etc.)
+ Perform head-to-toe and focused cardiac assessments
+ Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
+ Communicate changes in patient condition to the healthcare team
+ Collaborate with doctors and other nurses on patient care plans
+ Provide patient and family education (especially about cardiac care)
+ Assist with cardiac procedures and tests (e.g., stress tests, EKGs)
