Registered Nurse – SCBU Waitākere Hospital

Permanent, full‑time role. The Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) at Waitākere Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse skilled in neonatal care and who will be an excellent fit with our team.

About the Role

The SCBU provides care for babies born as early as 32 weeks, and as small as 1500g, who require neonatal support. We are dedicated to providing a nurturing and supportive learning environment, pride ourselves on our team culture and values, and on the excellent nursing care we provide in partnership to infants and their families.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current APC with the NZ Nursing Council
• Experience working in neonatal care
• Demonstrated effective teamwork
• Knowledge of Whānau centred care principles and demonstrated ability to apply this into practice
• Working at Health New Zealand
