Provide care to residents in accordance with standards of practice.
Offer leadership and guidance to nursing and personal care staff by planning, directing, supervising, and evaluating their work.
Liaise with interdisciplinary team and care providers to develop, implement, review, and evaluate complex resident care plans, including education and support.
Delegate clinical tasks to unregulated care providers while maintaining sound clinical knowledge.
Maintain competencies as per governing College standards and complete Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening (VPS) within 3 months.
Use computer and Microsoft Office applications in daily operations.
Qualifications
Current registration as a Registered Nurse in Ontario.
Experience working with seniors and unregulated care providers.
