Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the PACU- Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. This is a part time day shift position in Charlottesville, VA. Three 10-hour shifts and required call.
Sign on bonus of $7500 available for qualified candidates.
PACU: The Post- Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nursing Staff are responsible for observing and treating post-operative patients from a variety of service lines including radiology, Endoscopy, General surgery, Urology, Complex GYN, Neurosurgery, Vascular/Thoracic and Orthopedic surgery. PACU is a 12-bed unit with a 1 to 2 nursing to patient ratio.
Operating hours are 730AM to 930PM Monday to Friday with designated overnight and weekend call staff to mitigate call shift burden. One Friday overnight call shift every 6 to 8 weeks. Per six week schedule, approxima...
