Our multifunctional lab brings a more advanced approach to cardiac diagnosis and treatment to our Hanover community and surrounding counties. Our lab consolidates comprehensive cardiac services into one shared and highly efficient location. Here at Memorial, we currently have 1 EP room, 3 Cath lab procedural rooms, and 6 recovery bays. Our recovery area is unique in that serves as a PACU recovering both our TAVR and Mitral Clip patients as well as our post procedural Cath/EP patients. At Memorial Regional, our Cath lab performs state of the art procedures such as TAVR’s (Transaortic valve replacement) , Mitral Clips and Watchman (Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion Device), as well as averaging a large volume of radial and femoral artery catheterizations every month.
