Position Overview
JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for utilizing the nursing process to provide safe, age-appropriate, direct and indirect patient care, while practicing within the scope of practice of the Oregon State Board of Nursing. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION The Intensive Care Unit provides direct care or influences care for acutely/critically ill patients who are at high risk for actual or potential life-threatening health problems. The ICU provides care through advanced knowledge and experience in a setting that provides intensive monitoring, assessments, and interventions. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required. Healthcare Provider Level BLS required. GSR ICU-CCU: ACLS, PALS and TNCC required within six (6) months of hire.
