Registered Nurse - Critical Care / Step-Down Unit The Staff Pad Wausau, WI Multiple Shifts Available The Staff Pad is partnering with a leading healthcare system to hire Registered Nurses for a high-acuity Critical Care / Step-Down Unit .
This unit cares for a complex patient population including cardiothoracic, post-surgical, and telemetry patients-offering exposure to ICU-level skills in a structured, team-driven environment .
What You'll Do:
- Provide care for patients requiring higher acuity monitoring (drips, chest tubes, central lines)
- Collaborate with a strong interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting
- Manage frequent admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Deliver patient-centered care with a focus on safety and outcomes
What We're Looking For:
