About the Role
Our service looks after the care of medical oncology, radiation oncology, haematology and Medical Day Stay patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy and supportive therapy, or patients who have recently returned from radiation therapy in Dunedin. Some of the key nursing tasks are: comprehensive patient assessment; administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapies and associated supportive therapies or procedures; and psychosocial assessment and support.
