Position Overview
Summary:
- Location: Anschutz Medical Campus
- Unit: Level Four-NICU
- Duration: 13 Weeks (05/05/2026 - 08/01/2026)
- Shift: 12Hr Nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
- Work Mode: Onsite
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill newborns in the NICU.
- Adhere to the 50-mile radius rule for floating requirements to ICU's (PICU or CICU) and acute care floors (6, 8, 9, 10).
- Ensure not to take patients greater than 3 years of age when floated outside the NICU.
- Work every other weekend, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Work on July 4th as required.
- Fulfill scheduled guaranteed hours and may be reassigned within 35 miles of the originally assigned facility.
