Unit Summary

Juravinski Cancer Centre Clinics (JCC Clinics) provides services to facilitate the consultation and planning of specialized care, treatment and follow up of patients with cancer. JCC Clinics supports outpatient care within six large clinics, across all disease sites and treatment modalities, serving around 400 patients daily. The unit includes our Primary Nurses, our Clinic Clerks, Lobby and Laboratory Reception Clerks, our Clinic Health Care Aides, our New Patient Referral Clerks and our Patient Registration Clerks. There is also interaction with physicians, allied health professionals, Customer Support Services and with other Juravinski Hospital staff through treatment and laboratory services. 

Reporting directly to the Clinical Leader, JCC Clinics, the Primary Nurse accepts privileges and responsibilities of authority, accountability and autonomy for patient care and professional development. The P...
