Your Opportunity:

The RAH ICU is a 29-bed unit characterized by high acuity and high occupancy. The ICU cares for critically ill patients from medicine, surgery, obstetrics, gynecologic, neurosurgical, and trauma programs. The unit provides evidence-based services within an inter-disciplinary team model. Specialized services include acute ventilatory support; continuous and intermittent renal replacement for acute and chronic renal failure, and sepsis; therapeutic plasma exchange for hematological and auto-immune disorders; and critical care support for the regional bariatric program. The Code Blue and Rapid Response Teams for the Royal Alexandra Hospital include nurses from the Intensive Care Unit.
