Position Overview

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse provides total nursing care to patients of all ages appropriate to Inpatient Behavioral Health Services. Collaborates with multi-disciplinary teams to assure high quality, cost effective care for patients. Effectively interacts with patients, healthcare members, and other agencies, while maintaining standards of professional Nursing. Effectively interacts with physicians, patients, and health care team members while maintaining high professional standards.
Duties/Responsibilities: 
Complete accurate patient assessments, initiation and implementation of Nursing Care Plan, with evaluation and alteration of nursing care as needed.
Develop and maintain Treatment Plans according to Policy and Procedures, following principles of asepsis and infection control guidelines when performing patient care.
