Position Summary: The nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for individual patients and families. The role uses the nursing process and adheres to standards set by the College of Nurses of Ontario and the hospital. The nurse provides appropriate learning experiences for patients and families to promote wellness and quality of life and maintains professional competence.
