Prepares clinical and progress notes, coordinates services, works as liaison between treating physician and other personnel of changes in the client’s condition and family members.
Counsels the clients and family in meeting nursing and related needs, participates in in‑service programs, and supervises and teaches other nursing personnel.
Monitors and records vital signs and reports to the treating physicians for abnormal values.
Administers prescribed medications.
Monitors intravenous infusions and parenteral therapies.
Provides care for clients with tracheostomy, gastrostomy and colostomy.
Performs nursing care for clients with pacemaker, peritoneal dialysis, and clients on ventilator.
Delivers nursing care of clients with hemiplegic, paraplegic, Bell’s palsy, cerebral palsy, terminally ill, and elderly patients.
