**UW Medical Center-Montlake - Center for Clinical Excellence** has an outstanding opportunity for a **Healthcare Epidemiologist.**

**WORK SCHEDULE**

+ Full time / 40 hours per week
+ Primarily Monday-Friday, day shift
+ Up to 3 days per week of telework will be allowed, once fully trained

**POSITION HIGHLIGHTS**

+ Play a key role shaping clinical practice at a magnet-designated medical center
+ Oversees Infection Prevention program plans, such as, Catheter-Acquired Urinary Tract Infection, Central Line Associated Bloodstream Infection, Environment of Care, and Highly Pathogenic Disease Programs at our medical center

**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Investigates hospital acquired infections and exposures
+ Serves as a consultant and advisor to personnel at all levels for infection prevention epidemiology
