About the Role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our small and friendly team at Darfield Community Hospital on a permanent part-time contract. This position is 0.4 FTE (16 hours per week) and shifts are rostered across Monday – Sunday; mornings, afternoons and nights.

About the Service

Darfield Community Hospital has 11 beds for providing palliative care, transition to home and respite care of the elderly for our local community.

We are a friendly, small team in a rural hospital setting, comprising of Registered Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, a Gardener/Maintenance person, allied health involvement, Older Persons Health and Palliative care support.

Qualifications

• Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current APC.
