Flexible Work, Better Balance
Bone Marrow Transplant and Apheresis Nurses play a critical role in delivering comprehensive care to patients undergoing Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT), encompassing all phases pre-transplant, during the procedure, and post-transplant—for both allogeneic and autologous cases as well as oncology and Hematology patients. They are responsible for managing stem cell collection and therapeutic apheresis procedures, ensuring safe and effective execution. These nurses also care for patients with general and specific medical conditions and administer chemotherapy infusions, closely monitoring for and managing side effects associated with stem cell collection, chemotherapy, and infusion therapies. Their expertise and vigilance are essential to supporting patient recovery and maintaining high standards of clinical care throughout the transplant and apheresis journey.
