AOD Registered Nurse – 0.75FTE (30hours per week) on a fixed‑term contract of 12months.Exciting new role working in the Auckland City Hospital Emergency Department, Monday to Friday.We are happy to consider a secondment from your current role for internal applicants.

About the Team / Service / Location

You will work alongside an AOD Clinician in the Adult Emergency Department (AED) at Auckland City Hospital, one of seven national pilot sites implementing screening, brief and early intervention and referral to treatment (SBIRT) for patients with alcohol and other drug problems.You will also support AED staff by providing information and education on substance use, motivational interviewing, brief intervention and harm reduction where needed.You will report to the Clinical Team Leader, Liaison Psychiatry, and the majority of your work will be in the AED.A laptop will be provided and you will have access to support from the Mental Health Nurse...
