We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Acute Assessment Unit (AAU) at Ashburton Hospital. The AAU provides 24‑hour medical assistance for urgent accidents, injuries, or medical concerns. The unit sees a diverse range of presentations from Triage1 for immediate resuscitation to Triage5 for less urgent care. Experience in emergency/acute care work, phlebotomy, and cannulation certification is advantageous. Ashburton Hospital is one of only four level‑three rural hospitals in the South Island and the largest rural health facility in Canterbury.
