**Job Description**

**The Division of Metabolism, Endocrinology and Nutrition has an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse 2 – Research to join their team. This is an hourly position with a variable shift.**

Located in the Clinical Research Unit (CRU), the Registered Nurse 2 – Research will perform clinical nursing procedures in accordance with research protocols and evaluate outcomes of patient participation in research studies.

This position will work closely with the CRU Research Coordinator Supervisor in the organization and execution of research performed at the CRU. Working under the general direction of Principal Investigators and the Clinical Research Director, the registered Nurse will monitor regulatory aspects of research, conduct clinical procedures, and collect, organize and analyze data obtained from Clinical Research Unit research participants.
