At least 2 years’ experience of working with children/young people with emotional, behavioural difficulties within a residential setting or related experience.
At least two years’ experience of managing, developing and supervising staff.
Possess level 3 Diploma in working with children and young people in a residential setting.
Possess level 5 Diploma or equivalent or be willing to work towards a relevant management qualification.
Excellent understanding of the needs of the children/young people who require care and support and the provision of residential services in line with best practice.
