Position Overview
Position Summary:
Provides, implements, and documents medical nutrition therapy assessments, and plans including education and evaluation to patients, residents, clients, and its affiliates, including community and contractual services. Maintains skill and knowledge to provide optimal nutrition care; educates/coordinates activities as a member of the health care team. Works with peers and food service staff to ensure implementation of established care plan. Participates in auditing as directed: Charts, test trays and meal rounds. Adheres to hospital and department policies and procedures. Complies with all regulatory requirements including State DOH Long Term Care and JCAHO Standards
Education, License & Cert:
Bachelor's Degree in a nutrition related program. Completion of Dietetic Internship. If RDβeligible, must pass RD exam within 6 months of hire. Master's Degree preferred. Active maintenance of registration by completion of continuing education requir...
