Manages the team of Technical Sales to ensure that all activities are properly done (no tender failure due to technical questions, best solutions proposed to increase our hit ratio, introduction of new technologies, participation in innovation, push for services)
Meets on a regular basis with customers to provide them with technical support, to promote VAM® / Vallourec Products and Services, and analyse their needs.
Supports the team in helping to answer to tenders by supporting the clarification of the technical points and proposing the best Vallourec / VAM® solution. He/she acts as the interface between Sales/R&D/mills/corporate.
Provides analyses to the Commercial Director regarding the needs to develop/promote new products/services.
Ensures those needs are well defined so R&D/industrialization teams have a perfect understanding.
