**What You'll Do (Responsibilities)**
- Oversee the preparation and review of technical accounting memos for complex, significant and non-standard transactions according to US GAAP and applicable local statutory standards (IFRS).
- Work cross-functionally with business functional teams, including Controllership, Finance and corporate business partners (FP&A, Tax, Treasury, GPSC, Legal) in analyzing transactions, determining accounting treatment and the proper financial reporting based on GM’s Chart of Accounts (CoA).
- Prepares and reviews quarterly-annually financial reports to SEC team for 10-Q and 10-K disclosures purposes.
- Lead the modernization of current processes by working closely with regional Controllership teams, providing insights and technical accounting guidance, while ensuring compliance with corporate policies.
