Position Overview
A world leader in analytical instrumentation is seeking an accomplished, ambitious and commercially astute account manager/business development specialist or an experienced Analytical Chemist looking to transition into a commercial sales role.
Acting as the regionβs Business Specialist, this role will predominantly involve the sale of a range of chromatography systems; HPLC/UHPLC, GC and mass spectrometry instruments and the associated detectors (UV, DAD, ECD, FID etc) into a variety of industries. Conducting the entire sales process, identifying leads, account managing current prospects, providing quotes and closing sales.
The successful candidate will have previous sales experience and a good understanding of analytical chromatography. Knowledge of HPLC is a must due to the technical nature of the sales process. Expertise or experience with mass spectrometry would also be highly advantageous but not essential.
