Overview
This role will suit a commercially driven sales leader with deep experience in construction equipment or heavy machinery, and a proven ability to build and stabilise channel-led businesses in competitive markets. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating with autonomy, ambiguity, and hands-on responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Malaysia excavator business, with accountability for sales performance, market coverage, and execution cadence
- Manage and uplift dealer performance, introducing clearer governance, expectations, routines, and performance management disciplines
- Diagnose structural channel challenges and implement practical, market-relevant solutions to improve focus, capability, and conversion
- Develop and expand the dealer network, including appointing additional partners where market coverage or capability is insufficient
