Summary

/Objective:Responsible for the long-range direction of Samtec Asia Pacific Automation and Tooling engineering strategy. The Regional Automation Engineering Manager will work with the Director of Automation Development to direct the strategic design, management, and implementation of high-volume automation equipment and traditional tooling/equipment within the connector and high-speed cable industries. This person will develop and maintain external automation suppliers to meet the rapidly growing automation needs to align with company goals.Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:

Execute the company’s automation technical vision and lead all aspects of the company’s automation and tooling development in Asia Pacific.

Identifies, develops and builds external automation suppliers throughout Asia.

Leads internal automation/tooling engineering teams throughout Asia to design and build equipment needed to support traditional high-mix/flexible manufactu...
