Position Overview

Technology Engineering and Manufacturing of Rectifier Thyristor
Rectifier duty transformers (multi-pulse, phase-shifting, K-factor considerations)
Thyristor/IGBT-based rectifier systems
Design cooling systems, insulation class, losses, impedance, and protection schemes.
Supervise factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT).
Testing and commissioning and synchronization with grid/plant electrical systems.
2. Harmonic Management & Power Quality
Analysed harmonic distortion generated by rectifier loads.
Design/review harmonic mitigation strategies:
Passive harmonic filters (tuned, detuned)
Active harmonic filters (AHF)
Ensure compliance with IEEE-519 / IEC harmonic limits.
Monitor power quality parameters during operation and recommend corrective actions.
