**Job Description**

The Recruiter (Level 1) is primarily responsible for the development and implementation of sourcing strategies to recruit and retain top health care professionals for the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS) and the Icahn Medical Research Institute. Function as a liaison between Human Resources, Departments, Hiring managers and external clients to facilitate the various operational and staffing goals of ISSMS and the Icahn Medical Research Institute . Specific responsibilities (including but not limited to) are listed below.

The Recruiter I will recruit for a variety of positions including research scientists, research coordinators, clinical and administrative staff (including leadership roles.)

**Qualifications**

+ Bachelors degree
+ 2 years of recruiting/placement experience in the health care industry or equivalent combination of education and experience in a high-volume, fast paced environment.
