The Community Services & Facilities Group is an externally facing group of Selwyn District Council that facilitates and delivers community opportunities, experiences, services, and programmes to build the capacity, connection, and overall well‑being of the community. The Sport and Recreation team is responsible for delivering world class recreation, sport and play outcomes for the Selwyn District's residents and visitors. Whether it is operating the Selwyn Sports Centre, Selwyn Aquatic Centre or delivering active recreation programmes and events to the public, the team aims to keep everyone engaged in their physical and mental wellbeing journey.
Based at the modern Sports Centre facility in Rolleston, this is a 20‑hour per week role, working Monday to Thursday with varied start and finish times: Monday to Thursday – 5:00 pm to 10:30 pm.
