Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Auto Hobby, Beale AFB, CA This position is a Regular Full time (35-40 hours per week). Responsibilities The primary responsibility of the Automotive Service Writer is to act as a liaison between mechanics and customers. This position enables mechanics to receive clear communication on customer expectations of work, as well as enable the customer to make well-informed decisions about what parts should be purchased, work performed, and amount paid. Maintain clear records, both written and typed, on work authorized by the customer and work completed by the mechanic in alignment with the Write it Right Program.
