The Recording Media Operations (RMO) manufacturing team is responsible for direct supervision of the manufacturing specialists, overseeing operational activities to meet production goals, quality, safety and cost objectives. We work with cross functional departments to implement, sustain Lean and Kaizen initiatives, improve productivity by studying work activities, analyzing value add and non-value add and motion time study, improve factory throughput by focusing improvement on bottleneck capacity, inventory and manufacturing cycle time reduction. As part of RMO's digital transformation efforts, the team increasingly leverages data, automation, and AI to improve operational excellence and this internship contributes directly to that journey.
