Position Overview
**Job Summary** **:**
Operates multiline telephone system to answer incoming calls and direct callers to appropriate office. Greet guests, clients, students, and receives vendors to the client site. Responsible for logging all non-employee visitors in the building.
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Prepares lobby for welcoming guests
+ Retrieves messages from voicemail and forwards to appropriate STI personnel
+ Answer incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers and forwards calls to appropriate personnel/department.
+ Takes messages when necessary.
+ Answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions and other information as needed.
+ Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, monitors visitor access, and announces visitors to team members.
+ Maintains corporate conference room schedules.
+ Responsible for maintenance calls for telephone system.
