Position Overview
Job Summary:
Operates multiline telephone system to answer incoming calls and direct callers to appropriate office. Greet guests, clients, students, and receives vendors to the client site. Responsible for logging all non-employee visitors in the building.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepares lobby for welcoming guests
- Retrieves messages from voicemail and forwards to appropriate STI personnel
- Answer incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers and forwards calls to appropriate personnel/department.
- Takes messages when necessary.
- Answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions and other information as needed.
- Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, monitors visitor access, and announces visitors to team members.
