Position Overview
We are looking to hire a Receptionist. It's a 4 months contract role based in Wadeville.
Responsibilities
- Operating the switchboard by answering all incoming calls and ensuring they are transferred to the appropriate personnel;
- Welcoming visitors and ensuring they are collected from reception by appropriate personnel;
- Reporting all telephone extensions that are not working to IT;
- Updating the telephone extension list and distributing it to all Wadeville users
- Booking interview appointments for shortlisted candidates and ensuring boardrooms are booked for interviews;
Requirements
- Grade 12;
- Qualification/certificate in office management or related field is required;
- HR Diploma or studying towards a HR Diploma will be advantageous;
- Prior experience as a switchboard operator and receptionist
