A rare and exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the R.E.A.C.T. (Rapid Early Assessment and Care Team) team at Stoke Mandeville Hospital to cover Maternity Leave.

The successful candidate will be joining an established Therapy led Assessment and Discharge team which covers the Emergency Department, S.D.E.C (Same Day Emergency Care), A.R.U. (Acute Receiving Unit) and E.M.R.U. (Emergency Medical Receiving Unit).

The REACT team provides very high quality assessments in order to establish robust and swift rehabilitation and discharge plans for the patients under their care. The team is made up of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, a Nurse and Band 4 and Band 3 Clinical Support Workers and we work transprofessionally for the benefit of the patient.
