Radiometric Metrologist – Somerset West

A renowned Manufacturing Engineering company is looking for a Radiometric Metrologist to join their team on a full-time permanent basis in the Helderberg Area.

The purpose of the role is to ensure the accuracy and reliability of aerospace measurement instruments through precise calibration and maintenance.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Physics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Astronomy, Industrial Physics
• 1 – 3 years of experience in a relevant engineering field
• Experience in spectral & radiometric measurements
• Handling and Adjusting Delicate Instruments
• Proficiency in Spectroscopy Concepts
• Microsoft Office
• Python Software
• Understanding of radiometric principles
• Proficiency in sensor calibration technique
