Radiology Technologist

CentraState Medical Center is currently seeking a Radiology Technologist to join its Radiology Department. This role involves performing radiographic, fluoroscopic, and other imaging procedures under the direction of a radiologist. The technologist also plays a key role in mentoring and training students in a collaborative learning environment.

Responsibilities

1. Prepares patient for examination.
2. Prepares room, equipment and materials needed for examinations, positioning aids for patient comfort and security and protective shields and apparel.
3. Takes images for diagnostic radiologic examinations according to established procedure. Scans required documents and transmits to the radiologist.
4. Reviews images, documents completion of case, scans required documents and transmits to the Radiologist via PACS.
