**Description:**

This individual works under the direction of and in partnership with the Radiology's team leaders which will include all sections of the Department of Radiology. This individual will be responsible for providing assistance to the Department of Radiology patients of all ages (including pediatrics) through his/her support of professional and technical staff. The responsibilities include delegation of components of patient imaging, patient transfer, EMR functions, dictation system functions, radiology information system functions, housekeeping, stocking, and patient education.

**What you will need as a Radiology Assistant:**

+ High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
+ Current enrollment in radiology, nursing, respiratory therapy or other licensed or certified health program preferred.
+ Completed medical terminology course preferred.
