JOB DESCRIPTION

Performing diagnostic imaging and preparing patient for their procedure

Evaluate patients’ medical conditions and history to determine the most suitable radiographic technique for diagnosis

Correctly position patients prior to X-ray imaging in order to obtain high quality films

Regularly inspect diagnostic equipment to ensure they are functional, in proper working order and operate efficiently

Performing administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice.

Performing scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment.

Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines to minimize risk of exposure to ionizing radiation

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Diploma/ Degree in Radiography or Medical Imaging from a recognized institution
