Our Client, a Public University company, is looking for a Radiation Therapist for their Ann Arbor, MI location. Responsibilities:

+ The essential characteristic duties and responsibilities include:

+ Administer megavoltage x-ray and electron beam radiation therapy treatments via Varian medical systems.

+ Conduct quality assurance checks on treatment plans prior to delivery.

+ Use IGRT techniques to localize tumors and safely deliver treatment plans.

+ Provide education and instructions to patients and care providers regarding treatment procedures, skin marks, diet, self-care.

+ Maintain equipment in clean and proper working order.

+ Maintain appropriate and accurate records of patient care.

+ Ensure the safety of patients and staff while in radiation areas.

+ Communicate patient information to Radiation Oncologists, Nurses, Dosimetrists and other appropriate personnel.
